LONDON/DUBAI -July 20, 2025 - Dr. Ddnard Napattalung, a globally recognized investor and long-time UK resident, is relocating her business empire from the United Kingdom to Dubai, with the move set to begin this August.
Dr. Ddnard, who has been a key business partner of the Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson—Zoul Mental Health SaaS, and a high-profile advocate for international investment into the UK, is expected to bring a network of global investors with her.
Her move is widely speculated to follow several of her investment peers who announced their relocations earlier this month — including the Geneva-based multi-family office, CHFCapital.ch.
The departure comes amid growing concern over labour shortages in the UK, which have affected multiple industries since Brexit. A senior UK official described the current situation as a “critical obstacle” to long-term operations. “People are being paid more to not work than to work,” the official noted, referencing government policies and workforce participation challenges that have persisted in the post-Brexit environment.

Although complex tax and regulatory frameworks have often been cited by business leaders as reasons for leaving the UK, sources close to the matter say the acute shortage of skilled and willing labour has become a tipping point for many — especially for investors requiring agile operational teams.
Dr. Ddnard, a UK-educated entrepreneur and philanthropist, had been one of the most visible champions of British business and was instrumental in drawing overseas capital to the country. Her decision to move operations to Dubai — which many investors views as a more strategic, stable, and growth-friendly base — signals a shift in investor sentiment.
This move is expected to be closely followed by several of her affiliated companies and investment circles in Monaco, Geneva, Hong Kong, New York, and Singapore, further contributing to the growing trend of billionaires relocating out of the UK.
